Elizabeth Skidmore is the President and CEO of the Child Welfare Consulting Group LLC, a national consulting and training firm that provides organizational assessments, management reviews, strategic planning, workforce and leadership consultation, technical support and professional development services to corporate, nonprofit and government organizations across the United States and Canada.

Prior to forming her own corporation, Ms. Skidmore served as the Executive Director of the Child Welfare Institute and as the Director of Leadership Programs with the Child Welfare League of America.  In these roles, Ms. Skidmore provided consultation and training in leadership development, strategic planning, child welfare, juvenile justice, retention, supervision and management, performance-based contracting, business strategies, system redesign, mergers and alliances, marketing/branding and board development to hundreds of nonprofit agencies, corporations and government agencies in 43 states and 9 Canadian Provinces. Ms. Skidmore holds a M.B.A. from Franklin Pierce College and brings more than 35 years of experience in administration, program development, nonprofit management and leadership to this position.
